Congress Protests Over Kargi Dumping Zone, Lays Siege to Municipal Corporation
Furious over the municipal corporation’s negligence, Congress workers staged a unique protest. They held a sit-in demonstration carrying garbage in polythene bags. The protesters dismissed the “Clean Dehradun” slogans as mere tokenism, pointing out that heaps of waste lie scattered across the city, but the Kargi dumping zone represents the worst of it all.
