On one side, daughters and a wife describe the pain of domestic violence — on the other, a 70-year-old father finds himself locked out of his own home, fearing for his life at the hands of his own family.
The case involves M.A. Quddusi, a Senior Engineer who retired from ONGC in 2017. Now nearly 70, he spent his entire life in government service — yet his twilight years have brought him anything but peace.
The Daughter’s Side — “Daily Torment Within These Walls”
The daughter alleges that the household has always been a place of tension and fear. According to her, domestic violence from their father is nothing new — the family has endured it for years. She further claims that on March 31st, their mother was forcibly removed from the house with the help of police.
The Elderly Father’s Account — “False Accusations Driven by Greed”
When M.A. Quddusi presented his side of the story, however, a completely different picture emerged.
He contends that both daughters have fallen into bad company and have their eyes set on the property he built through decades of hard work. He believes the allegations are entirely fabricated to serve that purpose. He revealed that he has twice published public notices in newspapers to legally evict his daughters from the house — yet they have refused to vacate.
The situation has deteriorated to the point where the elderly father himself has been living outside his own home since March 31st. He has openly stated that he fears for his life at the hands of his wife and daughters — a fear serious enough to prompt him to approach the district administration seeking protection.
Court Had Previously Ruled in Quddusi’s Favor
Some time ago, a domestic violence case was filed against Quddusi. The matter went to court, and the verdict was delivered in his favor.
However, the daughter remains skeptical of this outcome as well, alleging that pressure was exerted on the mother, which influenced the judgment.
Ultimately, who is telling the truth? The answer may only emerge through a thorough investigation by the police and district administration.
